Force of nature tornado game. Terraria does not offer a vanilla item spawn command. The methods of spawning items varies between singeplayer and multiplayer. In a singleplayer game, you’ll be required to make use of an inventory editor, and in multiplayer you will need to add TShock support to your server. An Inventory editor is a third-party program that allows you to add or remove items from your local character inventory, and in many cases, edit other character.

Terraria Inventory Editor

Hi,

The Terraria Player Editor (TPE) is an offline character editor for changing a Terraria player file.

The application is available here.

Terraria inventory editor 2019

The application is written in Java, so you will need to have that installed on your computer. The file reading and writing parts were written by Alyosha and I did the user interface. We patterned the look and feel after TerrariViewer, to whom we are very grateful.

We realize that there is some controversy over players modifying their character and inventory – especially for use in multiplayer. We can’t address this issue but there are many positive uses for our application. Our goals are to make using this application easy and reliable.

Features:

  • Version 1.08: Allows direct entry of color values (RGB)

  • Version 1.08: Chooser dialogs now movable

  • Supports Terraria version 1.1.2

  • Easy to use GUI:

    • Character: Name, Difficulty, Gender, Hair, Colors, Life, Mana

    • Equipment: Social, Armor, Accessories

    • Inventory: All Items, Coins, Ammo

    • Bank & Safe: All Items

    • Buffs: All Buffs, Debuffs, and States (Werewolf, Mermaid, etc.)

    • Item Chooser with images, categories, and word filter

    • Prefix Chooser with images and word filter

    • Buffs Chooser with images and word filter

  • Integration with the online wiki for info on items, prefixes, buffs via a right-click pop-up

  • Optional limits on character settings, item stacks, and prefix limits

  • Written in Java for portability.

The structure of the application is intended to allow easy updates in the future. The lists of Items, Prefixes, and Buffs are simple text files. The images are listed in folders so new elements can be easily added. We plan to release updates as soon as possible when Terarria is updated.

If you have any issues with or ideas for TPE, please post them. Note: You will download a “.jar” file. If you have java installed, you run the program by double-clicking on the file. It will start java and run the app.

Thanks!

Checking another player's inventory is impossible without your server controlling the player saves by using a Server Side Characters feature on your server. Server Side Characters are where all players that join your server start with a fresh character for that server (and leaving their singleplayer character alone) and keeps that player file on your server, disabling everyone's access to their player file when not connected to your server through terraria. Only those with access to your servers file and directories will be able to access the file and edit the file outside of Terraria. TShock supports Server Side Characters, but I'm not sure if the vanilla server supports this. (By vanilla server, I mean the one included with Terraria or alternatively available for download on the Terraria website). For support on this, you will need to create a new thread in the appropriate section or ask the TShock developers themselves. I think that '99%' is quite high an estimate.

If you play with people you know and trust, you shouldn't run into issues. There are other inventory editor programs around too, it's hard to 'blame' any particular one for anything.-For the other people having trouble with the download links - tools and mods are up to the authors to maintain, and if their download links are no longer working, then there's really nothing we can do about it. Maybe Shoot will reappear after the next update (1.3.6, no release date announced) and clean it up.I would advise everyone to use caution when following any links that take you off of this forum to download anything. That includes 'helpful' recompiles of things like this. I don't see anything concerning so far, but you never know.
